Flasher unit

Hi,
This may be stupid but where is my flasher unit? If you can send picture / diagram, where and how it looks. I have a 1982 XS650 Heritage Special and I want to replace my original to a LED one. But I can not find where the stock one is?? Thanks,

Under the tank, above the coil, mounted in a rubber thing on the top frame tube.

thanks found it. It's a nippondenso FU257CD 3 prong with C L B connects. Do you know if anyone makes a LED flasher that can replace this one so I can change my signal lights to LED type.

Use any two prong flasher that is LED compatible. Just plug it in so the tgwo prongs go into where the brown and brown/white wires are, ignore the third wire. It just hooks to the selfcanceler which is a pos anyway.

Hey I found this site ... and I think this will get around the selfcanceler... what do you think.... look at diagram. will it work?? http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=51356

I'm not electrically inclined ... need expert opinion...
also, how much brightness do I need for LED lights Tail/Brake, Signals, in Lumens.
