Is there anybody out there that fabs up a rear frame hoop for 650's? Im doin a cafe build, and im not that handy with fab stuff. I just want a basic "U" shape that i can weld behind the shock mounts.

Do you still have the part you cut off? If so you can shorten the "legs" of the u to the length you want and weld it on.

I cut mine off, cut out most of the bend that made it flip up and welded back on. I guess it probably shortened it 1.5" or so. Can supply pics next week if you want. I am home and frame is in at work so I can trim brackets and etc. during lunch and breaks.

I bought a seat from Jerm here on the board. And i was hoping to get something that was close to the seat, and the rear hoop thats on it doesnt quite match up profile wise. Even if i did cut it off. No worries. I think Hugh may help me out, he is looking into it.
