H4 headlights vs sealed beam

I really don't know how well they work at night. Haven't tried it. But I will take it out this evening after dark and go around the block just to check it out. BTW, I got mine a little over a week after ordering. I though that was decent delivery time. Go for it, you can't beat the price..

At first glance they seem like they might be dim - 1/3 or so of the lumens (LM) of a filament h4 bulb

Thats one of the things I don't know about. How well can you see with them. I know they help you be seen.

I took mine around the block last night. Definitely too dim to ride at night with (at least any distance). I would think a better quality LED H4 might work. It is very visible in daylight and it unloads the electrical system until I can do the PM alternator swap.
