My 79' headlight beam is a bit too high. The headlight itself is straight as I can see. Is there an adjustment screw or something to change the vertical aim of the beam? Thanks!
The headlight bucket has an ear on the bottom that is bolted to a slotted mount on the lower triple tree. Loosen the bolt and the headlight should pivot up and down.
There's a phillips head screw on one side of the chrome ring around the lens that lets you adjust it for left/right by screwing it either in or out.
You may have to disassemble it and lube the pivot points if it's too tight to move in either plane.
