Help identifying a bolt

Based on the part number I would guess 6mm, by 40mm long. most likely a 1.25 pitch

is it weird that I can't find a helicoil for M6 1.25? There is M6 1.00 all over the place, but only M8 in 1.25. Could the pitch on this on be 1.00 by any chance?

It has the same threads as the rest of the bolts in the side cover. Take one of the bolts along with you. Most places that sell bolts have a gauge of some sort to help you find the size. Or just try different nuts till you find one that fits.

Yes, it's an M6 x 1.00 pitch. All the side cover screws are that size. Many of those holes are blind so you may need the Helicoil bottoming tap.

D'oh my bad, yes def 6x1.00 Total brain fart. For some reason I was thinking 4.7 as the drill size, but it would by 5, and 6.7 for the 8x1.25.

Sorry.
