Just a follow up on my previous post about using Ducati muffler hanger rubber bushings when building your own rearset peg plates.
Here is a short rundown of what I am working on, for one side. So you need twice this amount.
10 mm aluminum plate, 6082T6, I believe
2 pcs aluminum spacers, 30 mm od, 12.5 mm id, 8 mm thick.
4 pcs Ducati "Silentblock", part.no. 76410011A
2 pcs aluminum washers, 25 mm od, 12 mm id, 3 mm thick
I also used M10x1.25, 12 point Ti nuts. Just because.
Early XS650 footpeg rubbers. 20 and 25 mm SS square tubing for the pegs.
SS hinge bracket for pegs, from 4 mm flat bar, TIG welded.

Looks nice ArcticXS!

Do you have any photos of the left hand side and of both sides with the brake and gearshift installed?

Pete,
This is an ongoing project, only got as far as the pics show, except for the other folding footpeg that I already made. Plan on using a shifter and linkage from RD350LC, on a custom pivot. And a shortened XS brake pedal. Both items already ordered, and in the mail from UK and Germany.

Neat - that will be very interesting. Please post photos as you go along - we really like photos!

Got the LH side sort of done, still some finishing on the edges to do. File and dremel work. Not too happy about the 350LC pedal and linkage though. Pedal is a bit too short, so had to be angled too much. And it is all chromed steel, so pretty heavy as well. Looks like I may have to make my own alloy shift pedal.....
Seems to be some issue with uploading image now, will try later.

Hi arctic! How is this project going? Really curious to see what you came up with!

Im designing some midsets to, its hard with the kickerstarter right :D
