I'm trying to get some info on how to ship a frame. I've looked over the UPS/FedEx stuff, but want to know if someone has done this and how it worked out.
Thanks all
ive used both greyhound and fed ex.
fed ex will ship it unboxed as long as there are no sharp edges exposed.
Last time i used fedex to ship a frame it cost me around 60 bucks but it was only going from mi to pa.
Greyhound is pretty cheap, shipped a frame from mi to vegas for 100 bucks. they will also take it unboxed. Just call them and they'll give you the details.
I brought the my already chopped portion of the frame to the UPS Store expecting to have to buy a box for it, but the guy just stuck a label to the backbone and said it was fine. It came back shrink wrapped in heavy plastic.
