I haven't been on here much lately ....

Yup ! Just a pair of .99 cent boots on the coil . If I hadn't already had the carbs cleaned ,rebuilt and re-jetted I probably would have started screwing with them first . I didn't suspect the ignition right away because I just installed the Pamco last summer/ fall and it had been running good . The problem was the Pamco I had was at least a couple of years old and had been in a box . The PO bought it but never installed it . The boots that came with that coil ( the green high output with two leads ) looked OK , but where they are mounted is too close to the frame so the smallest flaw in them will cause problems . I have a piece of inner tube over the (new) boots now just for some added protection.
