So I bit the bullet and ordered the K&L from amazon. I figured it's roughly $100 more than other options. And I think it's going to be pretty nice. So I'll be the guinea pig on this one,,,lol. Good thing about buying from amazon I can return it if I don't like it.
You guys are going to laugh at me for this one. But here goes.
Is there any particular reason I would need the cylinders absolutely vertical? I think that's the way 5twins is, but he made it that way. I think there is roughly a 2'' height difference in the mounting holes on the motor, and 5t angled his bracket to accommodate that, I'm guessing so the cylinders are vertical.
So here's what's messing me up. Since I now have chemo brain I have a hard time with abstract thought. I have a hard time figuring certain things out. Math really messes me up. And I used to be good at it. I can not decide if the rotating points on this K&L need to be inline with each other like shown in all the pics I've seen. If one side is 2'' lower, is it still going to rotate? Or is it going to bind up? This is just blowing my chemo mind,,,lol. I think it will still work.
I guess if it binds up I'll make them even and just have the engine tilted a little. Or maybe come up with some kind of fix for it, like an angle bracket like 5t's.
I know. I'm over thinking it,,,lol.
I think this is going to work pretty slick withe a 650 on it. I'll report back once I get it.
