Increase front or decrease rear sprocket

18/30 with a 102 link 520 chain

Just went to 17/30 very noticeable difference and I was running 17/31 before, 1 tooth totally makes a difference
Rpm's are lower and speed is higher on the freeway
Not sure how many links but I am using a 530 chain I have heard about going bigger upfront I may try it even though she's running great as it is, thanks

I need to go 1 tooth up or down on either front or rear sprocket to have my chain in the position on my hardtail as i want it. Right now i have 17/33 on it.

So 17/34 or 18/33? What would you recommend between these?

Or if i cut chain, then i can run 17/32?
