Sounds like a lot of our customers from the '70s...
Once the CB900 race bike, thought it was pretty "used up" after 25,000 mostly track miles and a bunch of crashes. Then saw it again years later showing 56,000 miles still going strong, and the motor had never been touched!
I don't know about motorcycles, but girl friends ...........

1975 XS650B. Bought it in the crate when I worked for the Yamaha dealer on Sept. 11, 1975. Assembled it myself and been riding it since.
That is quite a story! I liked the 1975 decals and had a 75 RD250B in maroon.

Bike is all original with 31,000 miles. The wife and I used to ride a lot more than we do now. Most of our riding now is short trips in the daytime. Too many deer roaming around here at night. Bike has a Vetter Windjammer fairing with matching XS 750 bags on back. Just changed the starter gear for the third time since new.
When I saw the new '75 650's I had to have one. I am a sucker for anything in black and gold.
