Ooohhh... an R5-C. Only brand new motorsickle I ever bought... was an R5-C.
“The Mountains are calling and I must go.”
I’ve been itching to get out to the mountains, away from people and traffic , out to the open spaces that I love. Forty miles one way to get there , just for twenty miles of twisty roller coaster fun. The photos don’t show it, but this road was a little dicey today. These mountains were hit hard with wildfires this summer and recent heavy rains had flooded the road and washed sand and dirt and rocks across the roadway in a number of spots. It would’ve been very easy to hit a patch of sand coming around a corner and down you go!

Of course all roads lead to lunch! My favorite little dive, Big Earls Greasy Eats, where you can get a big ol Pepper Jack Cheeseburger w/ fries and Coke, mmmmm..........Its Good to be King !!

Ok, I’ve had my little adventure for the day. Time to get back on Old Blackie and head another forty miles back to the barn. My rides may be small in scope but they make me happy none the less.
