Hi all -

Is there anyone who makes a plug to block off the hole that's left in the clutch cover after removing the kickstarter shaft? I'm sure I could get something machined locally, but what a pain that might turn out to be. Hoping for an easy solution, but that might not exist.

So yes - I'm hoping to go electric leg only, just the opposite of what most folks do! I'm sure I'll get flamed for this here, but so be it.

I used a Dorman plug to block mine off.. just looked it up: part number is 555-083 OR a 53/64" freeze plug.

Why not measure the OD of the KS shaft, then buy a piece of aluminum roundstock the same diameter off of e-bay. Cut it to length, drill a hole through it and install it in the hole with fender washers on both sides and a through bolt.

That would be one way to do it without machine work.
