Bring this thread back to the top because I've decided to revive this bike SOON!
I had a funny top end noise since the rebuild and experienced a loss of power on the last ride, so I parked it, drained the carbs and tank, and took the tag off it.
Then I drifted off into the Honda world, fiddling with my CB500/550's.
However, after helping a buddy with his XS650 cafe' build, I've decided to revive the old gal. I'll dig into it and see if I can determine what's up with the engine noise, but I have a long rod 256 motor to transplant as well. This is the one with the hotter factory cam, so that will probably be going in instead.
I also have plans to modify this bike ever so slightly. Stay tuned.....
