My '80 xs650 engine rebuild

Next project: restore a 1978 xs650. Frame in good shape, going on a garage sale binge. Man I knew of a motorcycle salvage yard near me. I'll rebuild engine that I traded out to do this thread's rebuild so it'll be tci instead of points. Everything is stuffed in the garage so I have to clean that up first before I get going on it.

Just bought an ‘83 yesterday and have been pouring through what I can find on the inter webs, stumbled upon this and I’m quite sure your build is going to be used in tandem with the manual. Thank you so much for this thread!
