  1. What is the purpose of the rubber bushings? To dampen the vibration up the bars?
How do you think the O-rings with the soild bushings compare?

    They certainly look nice!

  2. Ask Hugh. I'm sure he could give you some comparisons. I won't know till I get on the road again, but I won't be able to compare the ones with no O ring.

I think #2 looks pretty good, trimmed up a bit of course.

  5. I'm pretty sure the o-rings are just to take up slop and not to dampen vibrations. That's why he calls them solid riser bushings.

Jimmy, did you get a chance to get that cam swapped out?

  6. Actually I just did on Sunday. I'm in Dallas right now though as my sister is in Labor. It's not running perfect, but I'll sort it out.... Or I will just show up and camp out on Hugh's couch for a couple days.

  7. Whats the latest on your build amigo?

  8. I must confess my focus has been elsewhere, but I'm looking to get back on it here in the near future. So no updates other than some new spiffy pipes.

I'll post them for you Jimmy :D I made them for his BIG bore kit, the cooling fins are bigger so I made the pipes to go around them. By the way Jimmy I hope you are recovering fine and all is well :wink2: [IMG][IMG]

Those are some sweet looking pipes.

  12. Very nice. Can't wait to see this thing come together and thanks Gordon!

  13. I'll get back to it soon enough. I'll be out of the works for another couple of months here due to my first bike wreck a month ago.

Here it is for your viewing pleasures! So.. This DID happen.

Wow, that's the worst kind. You almost T-boned that van. I hope you're going to be okay. Good luck -Billy

  18. I'm alright and yeah I made contact with the front end of the Suburban. Tore my right ACL, broke 3 ribs and I have to get my left knee checked for a possible meniscus tear. So far they are accepting 100% property damage and 70% personal injury. We'll see how it goes. Originally they were trying to claim 40% on both. I'll post some pics soon.

Hope you hired a good lawyer-- the insurance companies will beat you up worse than the crash if you let them.
