Need help with my XS650!

I know I got an XS650 But I want to find out the most I can about it.
I am ready to start buying parts for it but there is a lot of letters and numbers that are next to the parts when it comes to fitting specific models.

The VIN is 3G0003010 Can anyone help me find out the exact model of XS I got?

It looks like you have a 1980 model but these bikes get changed around so much, it could have parts on it from other years. Post some pics of your bike if you want a better I.D. of what you've got.
