New Rotor Question

So I am looking to replace my rotor since my bike is not charging and the rotor reads 80k-100k ohms between the brass slip rings. What I am wondering is what I should do about a new rotor. Should I buy one from MikesXS? How is the quality. Should I get it rewound at Custom Rewind? What do you all recommend?

PMA is out of my price range at the moment. Is racetechs quality good?

I had one rewound a few years ago works fine but with shipping it cost it about the same as racetechs cost. I for one like the tci ignition and don't want a pma.

I put a Racetech rotor on my '82 last Summer and couldn't be more pleased with it.

Says that it is for points models only 1970-1981

it looks like a sollid state regulator and I thought that all the rotors fit all models

Will both of these work on my 1981 xs650 special?
