YAMAPRO Tech
Howdy, Y'all - This is my first post ~
I'm a YAMAPRO tech from the Austin, Texas area and I'm looking at eventually building Bobbers from XS650s and V-Star/DragStars, as well as from other brands.
I've wanted an XS650 for a few years now and I just bought myself a nice little 1980 XS650SG from a 71 year old guy who decided he didn't need it anymore.
He bought it in 1983 with 4800 miles on it, kept it on the back of his RV and only rode it when he and his wife were traveling. Fast-forward to today and the bike only has 15K miles.
He rode it to our initial meeting and rode it again when he dropped it off to me, so that's a good thing. It needs a good service and removal of all his "Old-Man Mods," other than that, it seems in pretty good shape.
Sale price: $1400 - For a running bike in this condition, I'd say I got a pretty great deal!
Future plans? HARDTAIL BOBBER, OF COURSE!!!
