O.K., we're getting it....

I took one of those screw drivers that has a ratch spring inside.... hit'er a few times and got the screws loose......screws are out.

what would be the trick to removing that top part of the oil pump then ? Like, Gary, says "no gaskets", so should it just like be given a wack with a piesce of wood/hammer to break it free, or do I need to remove that shhaft some how, or ? ? ?

Like we got the screws out the shaft is sticking straight up... but she's not (the top of that oil pump) coming loose~off. Does that shaft come away with the top then in one unit ?

Thank You for any advice here K ?
PS: foot note, found a company who powder coats, got a price. both engine casings( high heat application), front fork down tubes, the "oil~bag", along with them soda blasting & taping it all. $ 150.00 good ?

The oil pump should come right off with the three screws out. Put the small gear and nut back on the shaft. This will give you something to grip while you pull and wiggle it off.

interesting ?

This litle unit.... why she's got two little center posts to keep her "fit", bless her little heart ! :)

So, ya don't wanna go whacking her to much with a hammer & wood dowling eh boys :( :)
