Hello everyone, been trolling these pages for months while I worked on my 81 special... (got it from the neighbor kid for free). Installed A Pamco unit and Hughs PMA, was just finishing up when a wrench got dropped and took out a sparkplug cap. Didn't see the crack and replaced on sparkplug. Bike ran for about 15 or 20 seconds and it died. Now no spark from Pamco but coil checks out fine. Is a crack in the cap enough to fry your Pamco. Damn, I was half a screwdriver turn from 650 bliss and now this. :wtf:

How did you check the coil?
Primary side ohms?
Secondary ohms?
Primary side to ground?
Secondary to ground?
The coil will stop working before the Pamco.
