Plugging tach drive whole

Or you could do like the previous owner of the basketcase I just bought did. Some kind of epoxy/putty. I don't know how I am going to get it out/off.

I took the threaded end off the cable and inserted a piece of aluminum I cut from a pop can to fill the hole. Seems to be working ok.

BUTT ugly that pic of the end of the tack drive cable with a piece of pop cam looks like a damn good idea, too bad I got suckered in on mikes tack drive plug , whit BTW they are out of stock on just like the Canadian distributor, take my advice and use the end of the cable drive and a piece of pop can like ? said looks good ! XP

I used a core (freeze) plug. 9/16" I think. Thin coat of RTV on the outside, drove right in.

How do the cap from Mikesxs fit the tach out put for a 1977XS650D. The lowbrow customs require to remove the tach gears, then drive in a alum stud. Im looking for some home brew. Anybody, Thanks Dirty
