Hello there
well i have searched and i could not find a guide that shows the difference in the pugs from lean to rich.. ect..

can't find it so i will post a couple of pics of my plugs.

the left side seams to be running fine, nice clean plug, but the right side is fouling, lots of carbon on it...

not sure what to do next, start adjusting the right carb i guess...

The nice tan colour is what we all want to achieve.

Have you done a "Dead cylinder" adjustment of the mixture screws? That method has worked well for me. Doing a sync with a manometer is useful too.

Its important to have a good strong spark as well.

The picture on the right is my plugs after a 2030 km trip, 3 weeks ago.

I have to ask...............have you read the "carb guide" by grizld1 and 5twins...................all will be answered!

so i switched the carbs back to stock jetting and neddle... and seems better, not so rich. i then checked the vales and set them propperly... the right side was way out on the intake... both exhaust were set right..

running better so far, plugs look about right...
now if i can figure out as to why it will hang up at 3000 rpm... not always but enough that i am worried... if in gear tho it will pull its self down under 3000 then it will go to idel at 1200-1500.
have read the carb guide many times... not sure why this is happening tho...
