removed turn signal switch now won't start?

You mean the start button no longer works?
Your handlebar is probably no longer grounded. See if there is continuity between the bar and your frame. If not, run a wire from the frame to your handlebar to ground it. Start switch should now work.

im running kick only. i took the switch off and straight wired my headlight so that both high and low beams would be on all the time. i don't have blinkers so i decided to do away with the switch. also removed all gauges and indicators. also running pamco.
