Replacing Spark Plug Wires

First off, i'll admit im a total noob. I just bought a 1981 xs650 bobber project. its about 80% done, ill attach some pictures. Right now im trying to replace the spark plug wires. im having a problem getting them off. anyone have any tips or tricks? ill attach a pic of what im working with. Thanks

If that's an original coil, the wires are generally considered permanently connected to it.
 
I don't know what plus part of the wire means. The wires on the other end of the coil have spade lugs you can pull off I assume. You could lop the wires off close as possible to the coil and and use the same wires on another coil, probably. Most people get their replacement coil from Mike's or 650central. With a new coil you can use any wires and caps you want.
 
Something you can try is grab the wire with pliers and try to turn it counterclockwise to try to get it loose, both at the coil end and the cap end. If they're removeable they often screw down over a thing like a threaded nail.
 
Yes, you can replace the spark plug cap. NGK caps are nice and can be found in many auto parts stores or MC shops. Clip the tip off teh wire about 3/8 to 1/2" before installing the new cap.
