Rev counter jumping/not charging

The rotor is actually pretty robust. The windings are 22ga copper. Grounding power to the frame wouldn't fry it.
What did fry it was heat and age. Happens a lot when the rotor's 40-50 yrs old. That's why I rewind 'em. :wink2:
