Rocker cover

Hi all, I am now starting the rebuild of my 1b engine and have noticed that there are 4 ball bearings mounted in the casing at the end of each rocker shaft. These have been cemented over, is this correct. Thanks. Pete

Hey Pete.
Cemented ball bearings are how Yamaha seals oil passage drillings where a turn is needed.

Hi, Pete, do you have a manual? Even a Haynes manual to get dirty in the garage might help.
