Hey guys, I'm trying to remove the rotor from my 650. I'm using a 3 prong and an air gun, and it's not coming off. What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks for the help.

You're using the wrong tool. You need one of these:

Maybe this should be in things to do with a lathe.
I had to make one recently.
No help to you I know but it shows how the extractor works. Needs quite a lot of effort to get it off.

Buy the correct Yamaha extractor tool. Lube the tool threads and fix in place. A few sharp taps with a hammer will free up the rotor. Be careful when turning the removal nut as it’s easy to strip the tool thread.

Yeah, like that. Tighten the tool, even with an impact gun, then whack the end of the tool, whack it hard, nothing will break, tighten again, whack it again, repeat until the rotor is off.
