Scramberized Build

You mentioned frame reinforcements. I see the extra brackets underneath for the skid plate. Is there more?
 
The skid plate is burly because it does take hits. But it is merely bolted to the bike - not really the frame reinforcement I'm talking about. I have reinforced the backbone (seat to neck) and ran a strut on each side. pics to follow
 
all of the pieces added were angle iron cut with hacksaw, then welded on to frame by a guy (Pops) I met at bike night who impressed me with his XS650 chopper. The effect on handling is great! Mountain curves - pick a line and it holds it. The thing I would do diff is position the side struts further back... I had to carve the struts to fit the stock carbs in... irrelevant now that I am going to forward facing - off to the side single carb.

Very interesting frame mod. A serious amount of added metal.
I guess that stiffens a twist/flex-prone region.
It'll take a bit of studyin' to digest all that.
