Little confused here... I know, that's not hard to do.
I want to buy a shop manual, looked at the Haynes manual and although they are ok, I have located an actual Yamaha Owner's Service Manual and I like to have as close to factory books as possible. The problem is that I do not know whether the book covers what I have for an XS... I could be making too much of this also.
The manual calls out the following models" E, SE, SF... and supplements for the SE.
I have a '79 XS650. How do I tell what model XS I have...? Am I making a mountain out of a mole hill...?
Oh, you do have a fairly extensive Tech Section here... pretty cool.
Thanks,
Rob
