Soda Blasting

theres a shop in my town that offers soda blasting and I'm considering bringing them my motor.
My question is should I disassemble the motor or mask off the parts I don't want blasted. I'm wanting to polish the tappet covers and side covers later as well as the fin edges I think.

I don't have a industrial soda blaster, so if I were you, ide ask the professionals, I.E., them They want your business, they will help you.
I do have a hf soda blaster, and I love it. takes all the old grime, and that thin layer of dried gas off carbs easy. messy...yes. a good buy at $50, yes.
