Something to help vibrations into the seat.

Several years ago, I used some 3/8" ID PEX tubing cone-shaped black neoprene rubber seals to replace the old, expensive hour-glass shaped OEM footpeg rubbers. These are used on RV plumbing systems. Also used 3/8" ID reinforced rubber washers (2 per mount post), one on inside against frame, one under the thick chrome washer (sandwiching the peg bracket).

Much better than the wore out rubber. Unsure how that would compare to new OEM rubber...

IMG_5996.JPG IMG_5994.JPG Tomorrow I will check the engine bolts.

Today I did s test ride with hacked footpegs (added the tubing around it as a test)

It DID reduce foot vibration, but is obviously not a good solution as it's breaking up after only 15 miles, but offers hope that the Harley Davidson thick footpeg rubbers will be a good fix.

The vibes are still present, but liveable, instead of painful between 3,500-4,000 RPM.

Will update when the pegs come in.
