After an eternity of preparation I am finally ready to turn a room full of parts into a motor cycle.
The frame has had some lugs cut off and some new ones put on, however it still weighs a ton.
Got the motor in the frame with the help of a friend.
Fitted the triple clamps, the top one took all my spare time for 3 months to machine.
They are 41mm to take SV650 forks and stepped to make up for the shorter fork length.
The offset I settled on (46mm) works out with a 17"wheel to give 100mm of trail with the XS's 27o rake. It's a bit of a guess as to how well it will work but hopefully I have enough adjustment to iron out any unpleasant surprises.
Next on the agenda is to fit the rear guard and swing arm.
