I'm debating what to do about tires. The bike will have new front fork springs, oil, seals. Not sure on a brace or fender. Rear will have bronze swing bushings and new taller shocks
With those upgrades will it be be allright to run radials or do I need to stay with bias ply tires. I'm leaning towards a dual purpose type tire vs a actual dirt track tire.

I would run either the continental or the maxxis tires for the street (goodyears are too soft) and I believe are available in an 18" rear as well as 19" and are also DOT approved where the goodyears are not. But if your not going to use a dirttrack tire does it even matter?

I've run both without issue however radials have a stiffer ride and hold more heat in them also sidewalls are not as big I can't say for sure how much that changes the circumference

Leaning towards these, Shinko 705 DS bias
