TC Bros wiring harness HELP!!

I bought a '70-'79 tc bros simplified wiring harness for my '79 bobber project.. makes sense right??!! Well when i was checking all the wires, i found out that my stator and voltage regulator are both 6 PIN, but my voltage rectifier and Ignition box is 8 PIN.. Do i have the wrong voltage rectifier for this year bike or whats going on?? Can you help?! Also if im using the TCB wiring harness do i even need the ignition box??

If you have a '79, then you should have a points ignition, not a TCI (electronic).
Post some pics and good descriptions.

My computers giving me hell and i cant seem to load my pics.. for whatever reason. But I think even without the TCI i should be okay, but whats confusing me is how i had a 8 pin voltage rectifier on a '79.. do you think i just have the wrong one??

Thats the voltage rectifier on my bike, but this is listed a s an 80-84 part..

Also on the '79 does the voltage regulator run out of the same area as the stator??
