Tell me about the XJ750

Wow, there is a few weeks worth of reading. It is bookmarked now. Thanks again brother.

Another really good feature on that site is the stance comparisons between bikes.
Top left side where it has classics at the top.
Go down to technical
In the Technical and How to's box click on "Simulate your riding position."

If you are comfortable on a bike you can compare that stance, hip/lean/knee angle to another bike or 3 or 4 ......

While this is very helpful, I just spent over an hour in fantasy land going through over 50 different bikes. You've just given me a whole new motorcycle porn site. Now if only they could simulate my belly size...

XJ is a good bike. I had a 900 and a Turbo. Excellent all rounders. I thought the 750 Seca was somewhat unfortunately styled, but there was nothing wrong with the bike itself. Hopefully parts are not an issue, but my way of thinking is that you can usually get these bikes so cheap, and they break so rarely, that by the time something really serious goes wrong you are either on to something else, or you just bid adieu.

I’ve seen a lot of XJ’s at the VYR. They seem to be fine bikes to me. I don’t believe most of them have a lot of value, so I wouldn’t expect it to be something to flip.

I've owned a 650 and 900 Seca and both were excellent bikes with no problems at all, As a matter of fact they are both still on the road and running great with their new owners. The 650 had 85k mi. and the 900 over 100k when I sold them. Those XJ's are bomb-proof with normal maintenance.
