Tracing history of motorbike

I have recently bought a XS650B VIN number 447127757. This bike was imported from America to Australia sometime in 2013. I am trying to trace a bit of history and was wondering if anyone can help me with this.

Like where THIS bike has been? That's a bit of a needle in a haystack without at least a name and state it came from. Hint; pics of the bike might jog someones memory.

I f you have the info on the importer he, especially if a company imported it, will still have the info. Tax records have to be kept for 5 yeaRS

if you contact a yamaha dealership they can tell you where it was sold initially that will give you a starting point then it would be the registration documents where you can trace previous owners up to you DVLA in the U.K charge for this information it may be possible in Aus as it was and is part of the Empire lol
