i have a tx 650 74 model and want to put a late model transmission (1980) has any one done this,are there any problems/ are they interchangeible.its so i can put the 5th gear overdrive in it

I havent done it but asked the same question as I too wanted to do a 5th gear OD in my 76.

i have one arriving by post soon as well as a rephased crank for a 700cc rebuild(should only take a year or so) but would like to find out the problems and whats posible before the tear down
