triple trees

so i just purchased basically a basket 81 xs650 today so im new to these bikes i was looking at a set of triple trees but they are for a 77 xs500 and was wondering if these would on the 650 thanks

I'd stick with the xs650 triples set for the 35mm forks.

If your asking if the XS500 trees fit an XS650 frame I can't say for sure. If you have the XS500 trees, try them in your XS650 frame.
The length of the stem is what will keep it from fitting right.
I agree with nj1639, use the trees and forks for the 81. They are a good fork as is and even better with a few mods.
