Tyre Sizes

Hi people,

i have just imported an X2 from the U.S.A, it is rough, but not much to get going.

It has come with a 16 inch wheel on the back, The wheel looks to lined up properly but the tyre looks to be the wrong size as it rubs on the rear brake torque arm.
I would like to keep the 16 inch as i prefer it over the 18 inch.

Does any body know the correct tyre size to clear the torque arm?

The XS2 came with an 18 inchrear wheel with a 110 wide tire. The 16 inch use a 130 wide tire. The XS2 has a straight torque arm the later bikes have the torque arm flattened where it goes past the tire.
In this pic the upper arm is from my 75, the lower from an 82.
You can see where the 82 is flattened. It's bent a bit too.

[Q Tip]

When I fitted the 150 radial on my GS500 I had to bend the torque arm on a little shop press a bit. Easy to do if you decide to go that route.
