Wanted - Valve covers for 1982 engine and front/rear sprockets

Looking for a set of covers for the valve,, I need all 4.
Must be in good shape and not all corroded up (like mine).

Also looking for a set of front/rear sprockets.
Preferable more teeth for the front and less in the rear.
Trying to lower highway rpms. I don't want to add the OD 5th yet.

Hi fred,
good luck with the valve covers. Best you buy the sprockets new. And a new chain to go with them.
17T is as big as I'd go at the front.
OK an 18T will fit but only if you run with a standard chain. Heavy duty & O-ring chains have bigger sideplates and they'll gnaw on stuff.
30T rear is about the smallest they sell so 18T/30T is the tallest ratio you can get and it'll only work with standard chain.
But as all you got is ~50HP what you get with 18T/30T gears is 4-speeds + overdrive and a bitchin' high first gear.

I run 18/30 with a 520 oring chain, fits fine.
