Need help finding out what gas cap will work on my 1973. The two caps I have are both dry rotted and don't have the push or key button to open them.

I'm pretty sure they are different. The tank for the 70-72 has only one spot for a latch pin, and unless I have a tank that's not for a 73, it has 2 latch pin spots on the side closest to the seat.

Shape of the tank is also different for the '73.
There was a change in the later '73 tx650 tank. Using "tx650 tank" in the google search box brought up hundreds of threads. Perhaps some help there...
