Yes go by book, typically when set correctly the adjusting tangs are near to flush with the rest of the float plate. Often some p.o. will will have cranked em down to "Stop a leak".
perfect thank you. I know that the previous owner adjusted the carbs so maybe he followed the wrong settings.. thank youYes go by book, typically when set correctly the adjusting tangs are near to flush with the rest of the float plate. Gotta love free quick fixes.
did it fix the poppin' and stutterin"?I also swapped the TCI.
This new profile looks really Good to me. Got a compliment from a guy at a light on an all black ‘14 Bonnie. I do have to scootch forward more on the seat; it would actually be a lot comfier if I had forward controls. Really liking the look, especially with the new tires. I think gaiters will definitely add to it. I also ordered a brown fork bag to carry around some tools, which will probably add to the look. View attachment 161480

Yes, it did!did it fix the poppin' and stutterin"?
It sure is! I forgot to get a closeup of the new biltwell grips. Funny you should ask about the texavina seat, another member just asked me what I thought about it; I love it and definitely recommend them for the price point. Like I told him, I haven't put any miles on in the stock saddle, so I can’t compare comfort, but I’ve put around 10k on this saddle, and it lived outdoors for one winter, so I’d say it’s held up pretty well!I like the look of this bike. Is that a Texavina seat? Brown with matching grips?View attachment 161502
Yep. I like it!
Oh, no ! Please tell us that it wasn't you who parked your sweet bike outdoors for a winter !and it lived outdoors for one winter
