Which Pamco

OK. I have a 1980 XS650 I am building. I am now at the point of purchasing a pamco unit from Mikesxs. The question is this. They are out of stock on the standard coil setup with all the parts. Do I wait, or is it worth it to purchase the kit with the 75kv coil for an extra $30 with the upgraded wires? I am not racing this thing, just for crusing around. Not sure what to do, or why. Thanks.

On the kit with the standard coil the plug wires are moulded into the coil. If a wire goesbad or gets damaged it's hard to replace the wire. You replace the coil. On the high output coil the plug wires just plug into the coil, so if a wire goes bad just replace a wire. I like that.
The higher output coil will give easier starts, better overall running. Are these things worth the extra money to you? That's a question only you can answer.
