Hi all
I’ve been a member here for some years but this may be the first thread I’ve started.
The XS2 motor I’m working on has the original 6 clutch friction plates and they all measure the full thickness of new plates so I don’t see a need to replace them or update the clutch pack to a newer version.
My question is about the rubber damper rings. I’ve seen it advised here to remove them. Can I just eliminate them from the clutch pack without any adverse effects?
Thanks for any info on this.
