Hi Everyone,
I took apart my clutch in order to install new friction and steel plates. Unfortunately, I didn't make a mark at the original position of the pressure plate. Now that I'm reassembling, I can't tell where the pressure plate is suppose align with the inner hub.
I'm aware that on later models, there are holes or markings to determine this alignment between pressure plate and inner hub. I also know that the threads that line-up directly in the center of one of the teeth show the alignment position of the inner hub.
My issue is that my pressure plate has no marking at all (I've included pictures). Is it because the no-tooth version doesn't need to be aligned in the same way as the later models?
Any help is appreciated!
Caleb
EDIT: Looks like this should be posted in "Clutch", sorry about that.
