My neighborhood alright. That one has been on FB for a while now. All I can say is Scrap Iron sells by the pound/ton. Figuring the bike at 400lbs and scrap price is $130 a ton this morning that`s about $26.00. My truck gets 11mpg and it`s a 34 mi round trip and $2.50 for the Turnpike fee, so that`s a cost of $10.00 . I guess my offer would be $16.00 and to my way of thinking that`s reaching way out there for that one.

Champion rear frame...
I'd like to get my hands on one.

 

A single tab upper rear shock mount on 3/4" tubing looks a little unstable. Champion rear seat loop is a simple bend. A brace would be a good improvement.

I think 1K would be reasonable for that since it does run.

 

I emailed the seller. He says he is going to re-paint the tank in original colors, and re-list the bike in Spring.The bike is located about 45 minutes from me.
