Get a repair manual. Read your repair manual. Fix it your self. We were all where your at now.
A 27 year old bike needs lots of TLC. If you can't do it your self then you had better be independently wealthy. At $50-$75 an hour for shop time, a bill gets big quick.

its cool. Ive done it myself a couple times. By calling bullshit, I don't mean to say that was a bullshit thing to do on your part. its just annoying to have a dead thread hanging around the top of the list.
