S650000637.. I always wondered why some had gathers.. others didn't, turn signals.. My theory was Yamaha was in a hurry to get the bike on show room floors...
early units had gathers and the dirt bike tail light... as the production run progressed... they add'd the signals, seat strap, standard tail light and drop'd the gathers... I once had a 71' Xs1b.. candy yellow.. but under the yellow was the Xs1 candy green.. so I assumed it was a re-spray at the factory.
I'm thinking what you actually had was an XS1-F. Not released in the states but was available in JPN and parts of the EU however not the UK. Shes a looker!
