It seems that it is going to be impossible to get my 81 frame title in nc. So I'm looking for one with a clean title. can be bare frame, basket case, or just a bike that not running. let me know what you have. I'm willing to drive anywhere within or near nc.

it is pointing up. I have been reading some mroe of the manual though and think i may be pretty far off. From what i've read when one cylinder is tdc on the compression stroke the other should be at tdc on the exhaust stroke. on mine the exhause valve is not open at all at tdc. I reckon i'll be...

just put my motor back together. when the pistons are at tdc the cam tdc indicate is at like 12:15 when it is supposed to be at twelve. does this mean im a tooth off on the cam sprocket or what?

i dont have the cam chain bearings installed. the tensioner is backed out real far, but can I back it out too far/ all the way? thanks for the help.

i have been raplacing my cam chain guide So i decided to replace the chain as well. I go tthe head back on and am now trying to put the new cahin around the cam sprocket. I can't get it to go on at all. I cannot even get the cam sprocket in place as the chain gets in the way and doesnt have...

Very carefully. I got the chain through, had to make a chain riveter and finally got the technique down, right as I ran out of light. Looks like I can finish this up tomorrow. Thanks for the help.

Alright so i got my head off, to change out my cam chain guide and chain. How do i go about putting the new chain on wiht out breaking the base gasket seal, which i dont think i've broken yet. i have a hcain breaker and a new chain with master link. i was thinking i could break the chain then...
